Beginning at kindergarten in Early Years the aim is to develop a child's knowledge and understanding of the world they live in. This is provided in a caring environment that enables the child to be self-confident, self-motivated and inquisitive whilst playing and learning in harmony with others.
This firm foundation underpins subsequent learning and development. Ensuring a commitment to high quality through active learning is fundamental in providing an excellent start.
Building upon the Early Years primary education covers Year 1 to 6. Active learning ensures the child continues to grow in confidence, understanding and knowledge supported by a broad and diverse curriculum.
Students are encouraged to begin to develop responsibility for their own learning, supported and nurtured by caring staff.
A smooth transition to secondary school, which covers Year 7 to 13, is essential for successful learning and development. Building upon their primary learning the student grows in confidence and understanding, developing in-depth thinking skills and analysis; study skills and continuing to learn in active and participative ways.
