The School of Research Science, Dubai wishes to appoint an inspirational and ambitious Deputy Head teacher to play a key role in the next phase of our development. The post holder will be responsible for the academic and personal progress of students from year 7 to 12 to join this high achieving, established school. (They will work closely with existing Head of Key Stage 3 and soon to be appointed Head of Sixth Form)
We are looking for outstanding candidates who:
can demonstrate that they have made a difference to standards of teaching, learning, attitudes and achievement in their current/previous posts
have a successful track record as a teacher
have a proven record of successful leadership
are tenacious about holding others to account
are outstanding communicators, able to inspire and motivate others
are passionate and committed in ensuring that every child is supported to achieve their best
SRS combines an international education covering the British National Curriculum with Arabic and Islamic Studies for over 1,400 students from Foundation Stage to Year 13, leading to GCSE, IGSCE and AS/A2 qualifications.
Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree, QTS and be able to evidence continuing professional development. Position from September 2012 but availability for part of June an asset.
