The School of Research Science wishes to appoint an ambitious, dynamic Head of Sixth Form. The post holder will be responsible for expanding and shaping this small but growing sixth form to ensure academic success and personal development for all the students. It will also include developing and promoting a full enrichment programme which meets the needs of our students and challenges them to aspire to compete with the best and contribute to the school and community.
The ideal applicant will have a successful track record as a teacher, recent experience of a Sixth Form Leadership an effective manager, be a good communicator and team player. They will have the drive and enthusiasm to build a highly successful Sixth Form and further enhance the excellent reputation of the school. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute fully to the academic and extra-curricular life of the school.
SRS combines an international education covering the British National Curriculum with Arabic and Islamic Studies for over 1,400 students from Foundation Stage to Year 13, leading to GCSE, IGSCE and AS/A2 qualifications.
Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree, QTS and be able to evidence continuing professional development. Position from September 2012 but availability during June an asset.
