SRS Eco-Committee
The Eco-Committee has been set up to involve students across every phase in the school. They work as one coherent committee working together to achieve the Eco-Committee’s action plan.
The areas of focus for the Eco-Committee are:
- Waste and recycling
- Energy
- Bio-diversity
Current Campaigns
The school is currently involved with the campaign switch off fortnight. Everyone in the school is being encourage to save energy by turning off lights, projectors, monitors and air conditioning when they are not in use. The Eco-Committee members are monitoring this.
We now have extra recycle bins in the school available on all corridors for the children to use. Every one in the school is being encouraged to recycle both their paper and plastic.
