Foundation Stage
At SRS we have 5 ‘Foundation Stage 1’ classes and 5 ‘Foundation Stage 2’ classes.
Our Foundation Stage classes follow the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum “Birth to 5”.In Foundation Stage the children are learning through play.
Through playful activities and learning experiences the children are laying the foundations of their learning for the entirety of their school career.
They learn to become independent learners and enquirers. We encourage independency where possible with the children in our care as we feel that the children’s development socially is as equally important as their development intellectually.
The children in Foundation Stage at SRS enjoy coming to school because we always strive to make it fun and we aim all their learning at their interests.
