GOVERNANCE

The SRS Governing Body was established in 2006 and provides high-quality support and challenge to the school, supported by clear strategic direction.  Its membership includes highly experienced and qualified professionals, representative of all 3 school curricula.. The Governors are responsible for strategy and ensure all polices and procedures are fully compliant.  Annually, they ensure that the school’s Improvement Plan is aligned to its 3 year strategic plan. The strategic focus for the next 3 years 2020-2023 is ‘to create a world class establishment with High Performance Learning (HPL) at the front and centre of all aspects of our work’.

The Governing Body meets a minimum of 3 times a year.  Additionally, there is an Executive Board which meets on a weekly basis and a number of subcommittees which ensure involvement of a wider range of stakeholders.

SUB-COMMITTEES

The Executive Board appoints separate sub-committees in relation to the following areas of responsibility:

  • Investment Committee
  • Curriculum and Standards Committee
  • Extended Community Committee
