The school clinic has several doctors and nurses who liaise closely with the Dubai Schools’ Health Service.
The school Clinic contributes to the goals of the education system ‘Placing first-rate personal development on par with academic excellence’ by providing top quality screenings and referrals, administering medications and treatments, providing first aid, health counseling and education and supporting students to acquire self-management skills.
The school health programme, policies, procedures and activities, are designed to protect and promote the health and well-being of students and staff through health services, health education and promoting a healthy school environment. Health education is about physical, mental, emotional and social health. It motivates students to improve and maintain their health and prevent disease. Health education curricula and instruction help students learn skills they will use to make healthy choices throughout their lifetime.
